Roger Corman’s The Little Shop of Horrors (1960)
October 31, 2014
Grand Illusion CinemaSeattle, WA
A special Halloween screening of the original cult classic, shown with spooky shorts (including an early 3D rarity).
All films were shown from 16mm prints.
Roger Corman’s black-comedy horror cult classic – dreamed up while drunk, and shot in only two days on a leftover set. A schnook at a skid row florist breeds a plant that eats human flesh and cracks wise. Bloody hilarity ensues, including young Jack Nicholson’s famous bit as a dental masochist! Plus: spooky shorts!
